Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 9

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 9 delivers the arc’s most shocking moment. After toying with everyone, Sukuna suddenly tears out Yuji’s heart and hands control back to the boy, grinning as Yuji collapses dying before Megumi. The King of Curses has made his point with terrifying clarity: he can end Yuji whenever he pleases, and no one can stop him.

Megumi cradles his dying friend, helpless and shattered, as Gojo finally arrives on the scene. Too late to save Yuji, Gojo calmly collects the body while the higher-ups rage over their lost vessel. The detention center lies in ruins, and one devastating question hangs over everything: is this truly the end of Yuji Itadori?
