Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 78

Geto’s break from the jujutsu world is complete. He murders his own parents without a flicker of remorse, defects from Jujutsu High, and vanishes into the night — leaving behind only rumors of a sorcerer gathering followers who dream of a world without non-sorcerers, a paradise built on a massacre.

Gojo tracks him to a back alley in Shinjuku, and for a moment it looks like the strongest will drag his friend back by force. Instead, after a few quiet words that change nothing, he lets Geto walk away into the dark. It is the last time they will ever speak as friends, though neither of them knows it yet. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 78 ends with the two walking in opposite directions, and no one knowing what Geto will become.
