Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 7 opens with Sukuna in full control of Yuji’s body, standing before the special grade Finger Bearer inside the detention center. Delighted to finally stretch his limbs, the King of Curses toys with the curse, shrugging off its attacks and carving it apart with casual slashes. Megumi can only watch as the disaster that nearly killed him is treated like a minor pest.

When Sukuna turns his attention to Megumi, the young sorcerer refuses to flee despite the hopeless gap in strength. He readies his most desperate technique, willing to die to buy time. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 7 ends with Sukuna studying Megumi with genuine curiosity, intrigued by the boy’s defiance and the shadows gathering at his feet.
