Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 2

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 2 deals with the fallout of Yuji becoming Sukuna’s vessel. The higher-ups sentence him to immediate execution, but Satoru Gojo proposes a delay — Yuji will first consume all twenty of Sukuna’s fingers, so the King of Curses can be destroyed for good. Gojo brings Yuji to Tokyo Jujutsu High, where Principal Yaga tests his resolve with a cursed corpse that punches him awake.

Yuji passes and officially enrolls as a first-year alongside Megumi. Gojo teases that a third classmate is on the way, and Yuji begins to grasp the scale of the hidden war against curses. His death sentence is postponed, not lifted.
