Inside the colony, Yuji and Megumi split up to cover more ground — a decision they’ll soon regret. Yuji is ambushed by Haba and Hanyu, a pair of reincarnated ancient sorcerers with helicopter and airplane hair, who descend on him with bizarre techniques and centuries of killing experience.

Meanwhile Megumi encounters Remi, a trembling player begging for protection from the colony’s predators. She seems harmless, helpless, sincere. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 161 lets the reader see what Megumi can’t: her fear is real, but so is the trap she’s leading him into.
